How to order your beef

At Witte Belted Beef, we sell premium Belted Galloway beef by the quarter, half or whole at $6.00 per pound of hanging weight. This price includes all processing fees through our USDA inspected locker, which ensures you get safe, wholesome, and properly labeled beef.

The best part about buying your beef in shares is that you get to pick your cuts. You decide the slice thickness of your steaks, the size of your roasts, the size of the packages of your ground beef, and so on. Your cuts are completely customizable to what your preferences are. We will be happy to walk you through all of the different cut options available, or you can also use our chart as your guide.

You can pick up your beef directly from the locker, or delivery is also available. We will deliver, free of charge, within 30 miles of Cambridge, Nebraska. Please do not think that because you do not live within 30 miles, our beef is not an option. Currently, we have beef that travels to Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and all over the state of Nebraska. If you live further away, please contact us for delivery options. If you choose to travel to pick up your beef, we will also guide you on how to pack your beef so it can make the journey to your home safely.

We are now accepting deposits for our spring and fall 2023 beef shares. Currently, our beef is available from May through July 2023, and September through November 2023. We require a non-refundable $250 deposit per quarter share to reserve your beef.

• Quarter beef share: $250 deposit

• Half beef share: $500 deposit

• Whole beef share: $1,000 deposit

Your deposit will be deducted from your final price. The hanging weight will determine the total price at harvest. Once the hanging weight is determined at the locker, we will send an invoice and the remaining balance will be due at that time. This will be approximately 3-4 weeks before you receive your beef. Deposits are final and will only be refunded if the beef is not available within the six-month time period you requested.
